<pSan Francisco based Grande Vitesse systems, which is now an active player in manufacturing DVR’s has announced the release of a 4K resolution Digital Video camera which is GVS9000 VTR 4K. This DVR supports compressed and uncompressed ProRes format support and it can record at speeds at a rate of 10GB/s real time record and playback. The resolution of the DVR is at 3840×2160 and 4096×2160, which stands as an outstanding highlight, among the available DVR’s in the IP security surveillance market.
GVS is soon going to introduce pixel to pixel exact color matching and custom LUT support that can be loaded to get the benefit of loading for workflow enhancement. The speed of GVS9000 VTR allows sharing media for recording in the field or studio environment. The media can be easily shared to the editor and that too without any huge investment in infrastructure framework for high speed storage media.
GVS 9000 VTR delivers three hours of video recording in an uncompressed way, on single nomadic 1U, and that too on a storage media which is shared over the Fibre channel. This DVR enables video shoot in 2K environment with 1080pixels via RS-422 9-pin or a TCP/IP protocol which can be attached to the camera for recording and playback settings.
