Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 has a latest update!

Microsoft has offered a new update to users willing to upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 OS platforms. The company has officially announced that all those Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users who are having a product key can just download the OS and use the same key of Win 7 and Win 8.1 to get the upgrade credentials.

However, Microsoft has made it clear that the product key the users are entering must be used on the same device. This can be done by going to settings>update&security>activation and using change product key. Similarly, if you are doing a clean install from a DVD or USB drive, you can also enter your existing product key.

Remember, all this exclusive support is applicable only till May 2016 next year as the free upgrade offer from Microsoft will end at the end of that month.

Hope, this new support upgrade will help the software giant increase the count of its Win 10 OS users from 110 million to 200 million soon.
