Japan launches world’s first washable phone!

People who love hygiene around them will love to hear this news. Japan Company Kyocera in association with KDDI is all set to offer a washable phone which can be soaked and washed with soap.

Kyocera Digno Rafre is the name of the phone which is washable and has been specifically rated for hot water resistance at 43 degree Celsius ( IP58 rating). It comes with a rubber ducky dock( like a Motorola 4G) which floats in the bathtub.

Digno Rafre 5 inches touch screen phone is being offered in Navy Blue, Coral Pink, cashmere white and has Dragontrial X glass to protect users against accidents. The phone is said to be shock proof as per MIL SSTD 810G standards.

Digno Rafre has 720P screen, is loaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop, has a 2GB RAM and 16GB on board storage and a 13MP rear camera. It supports 4G LTE and WiMax plus VoLTE and offers 20 hours of battery backup.
