Minnesota based retailer “Best Buy” has made it official that it is going to restrict recycling returns from Pennsylvania and Illinois regions. It has to be notified over here that from past few weeks, Best Buy is imposing a recycling fee of $25 for each TV and computer monitor it’s accepting to defray the rising costs of its recycling program.
But Pennsylvania and Illinois states do not allow retailers to charge such fee due to the law formulated by “The Solid Waste Authority” and so Best Buy has decided to revamp its recycling program in the said region.
Best Buy has suggested new rules for the two states under which it will continue to recycle electronics products such as computers, printers, batteries, and ink cartridges. The said items will be accepted by Best Buy stores in the said regions. But will not accept TV and monitor for recycling.
