Google offers free 2GB Drive storage for users taking Security Checkup

Google is offering an exclusive offer for Safer Internet Day. The internet Juggernaut is offering Google account holders a 2GB of additional Google Drive Cloud Storage in exchange for running its security checkup tool.

FYI, security checkup tool is designed to ensure a user’s recovery information is up to date, review recent sign-in activity, and see which devices and applications have been granted access to the Google Account in question. The company is also offering a 2-factor authentication setting for users who have it enabled.

As soon as users complete their Security Checkup, an additional 2GB of Google Drive storage will be added instantly and that too with no expiry date.

Hurry up guys, as this service promotion will end on Feb 11th, 2016.

Note- Safer Internet Day (SID) is organized by Insafe in February of each year to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially among children and young people across the world.
