IBM Corporation has made an official announcement that its Z13 mainframe server which has speedy encryption, cyber analytics and other security innovations is the world’s most secure server.
IBM’s Big Blue spent almost 5 years and one billion dollars developing the Z13 mainframe which was introduced last month and is touting it as a most sophisticated computer system ever built.
According to Forbes, IBM Z13 can process 2.5 billion transactions a day and this was revealed by IBM internal lab measurements. The mainframe has Z13 has advanced cryptography features built into the hardware that allow it to encrypt and decrypt data twice as fast as pervious generations, protecting information without compromising performance.
The new cyber security analytics service to Z systems customers can help identify malicious activity by learning user behavior over time. The software comes from IBM Security Business Unit and is patented.
