Microsoft Password ban for data security!

As incidents related to data security are on rise, Microsoft has created a dynamic list of passwords that users are forbidden to use on its online services. In an effort to protect people from issues related to data security, Microsoft will also encourage its users to use longer passwords tucked with a mix of numeric and special characters.

In this genre, Microsoft has plans to ban most commonly used passwords, even if they technically pass its requirements in terms of length and complexity.

Thus, pretty soon if you try to use a dumb password with your OneDrive or other Microsoft account you’ll politely be told: “Choose a password that’s harder for people to guess”.

So, get ready to go with the change guys!

Note- The Redmond based software giant has already started the implementation of banning frequently used passwords for some of its users and will expand this rule to all soon.
