Veeam Cloud Connect Backup integrates cloud repositories or hosted backup repositories directly into the Veeam Backup and Replication Console. The user will simply go the Service Provider Menu in Veeam Backup and Replication console and choose service providers of their choice. Once the user has selected Stonefly as a service provider, signed up and tenant account details have been shared, the user is taken through a setup wizard. Tenants are able to setup necessary jobs by themselves and can perform tasks on Veeam Backup and Replication servers on premises. In addition, Veeam Cloud Connect gives the following options for tenants to exercise:

  • Back up VMs to the cloud repository
  • Copy VM backup files to the cloud repository
  • Restore VM data from the cloud repository
  • Perform file copy operations between tenant’s side and the cloud repository
